Panathinaikos moved to within two points of leaders Olympiacos after a 2-0 win at FC Xanthi in the Greek Super League.
Djibril Cisse opened the scoring in the first minute but had to wait until the final minute to secure victory through Lazaros Christodoulopoulos.
Aris Salonika move up to fourth as Carlos Ruiz's third-minute goal was sufficient to beat Kavala. Atromitos drew further from the danger zone when they trounced bottom side Larissa 3-0, the goals coming courtesy of Evangelos Nestos, Marek Saganowski and Marcelo Sarmiento.
